Soleo Health is seeking a Full time Pharmacy Service Representative to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patients in the Norcross, GA and surrounding area. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!

The Position:

The Pharmacy Service Representative assists pharmacy personnel in the computerized filling the prescriptions and supplies as well as acts as a liaison with the physicians to get the orders and labs. Serves as back up to Intake Coordinator. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist pharmacist with refills (if allowed by Board of Pharmacy rules/regulations), discharging patients and picking up pumps as measured against standard operational metrics. 
  • Pick, pack and ship as needed. 
  • Run daily and/or weekly pharmacy reports as needed.
  • Track and log labs as needed, answer phones, monitor the incoming fax queue. 
  • Send and track orders sent to physicians for signature.
  •  As needed fax appropriate documents to any home health agencies also providing care to Soleo's patients.
  • Scan all applicable documents (e.g. compounding records/work orders; delivery tickets) into the pharmacy dispensing system or patient's electronic medical record
  • Serve as back up IV compounder as needed


Schedule:

  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm, 40 hours per week with flexibility as needed
  • Must be able to participate in a Saturday rotation approximately once every 2 months
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year on the job work experience working for a Specialty Infusion Pharmacy or hospital IV compounding
  • Must have experience and be able to assist with the following: calling patients for refill deliveries/clinical assessments, managing patient refill list, work in phone que responding to patient calls, 797 compliance, IV compounding, fulfilling orders with barcode scanner, pick/medications/supplies for packaging and shipment
  • Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia in good standing
  • PTCB/NHA Certification preferred


Requirements

  • High school diploma. Some college credits preferred.
  • Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or as required to perform pharmacy duties as required by the BOP - Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia in good standing, PTCB/NHA Certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in an health care environment to include Specialty Infusion Pharmacy or Hospital IV compounding medications
  • Prior experience with a home infusion company preferred
  • Excellent IV Compounding skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
