Job description

Composite Fabrication Technician
Location: Gulfport, MS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour
We are seeking a hands-on Composite Fabrication Technician to support the fabrication and assembly of advanced marine vehicle structures. This role is ideal for candidates with carpentry, fabrication, assembly, or composite manufacturing experience who enjoy working with tools and building high-quality products.
Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble primary and secondary composite structures
  • Use hand and power tools to build and assemble components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Perform material layup, molding, vacuum bagging, and infusion processes (preferred)
  • Assist with fitting, assembly, and finishing of vehicle structures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve assembly processes
Qualifications
  • Experience with hand and power tools required
  • Basic carpentry, fabrication, fitting, or mechanical assembly skills required
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Composite fabrication experience preferred, including material layup, open/closed molding, vacuum bagging, and infusion
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle screening
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card and future DoD security clearance
