Job description

Overview

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units ("Spirit Commercial"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.


Responsibilities

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate & Mid-Level.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Administer and provide physical security services for the purpose of safeguarding people, the environment, property, and information, consistently within company and government requirements
  • Responsible for access control, patrolling, emergency communication and response, and traffic and parking enforcement
  • Assist in the investigations of reported incidents
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies and directs evacuations as needed
  • Deescalate/resolve conflicts and document incidents with high level of detail
  • Issue security citations
  • Identifies and report potentially hazardous situations
  • Provide protection for VIPs as needed
  • Provide support for special events and functions
  • Ensures compliance with company's written policies and procedures
  • Interfaces with government agencies, local and federal law enforcement, and with site Security and Fire management, company management and employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure understanding of and compliance with company rules and regulations

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate (Level 2): 3 or more years experience in a related field (Law Enforcement, Military or Security preferred)
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship)
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift as well as other irregular hours, weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Mid-Level (Level 3): 5 or more years' experience in a related field (Law Enforcement, Military or Security preferred)

Summary Pay Range - Associate (Level 2): $37,850 - $58,000

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $46,150 - $70,800
