Job Description:
Easterseals NH & VT is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Human Resources Onboarding & Compliance Representative to join our team! In this role, you will help ensure that every new employee has a smooth, positive, and compliant onboarding experience while supporting HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition throughout the hiring process. Responsibilities include:
  • Communicate consistently with and provide excellent customer service to new hires to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal and Agency policies and procedures during the onboarding process.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process to include: Assistance to candidates in the application process, Working with candidates to obtain required documentation, Obtaining or verifying references, Obtaining or verifying motor vehicle records, criminal background records, etc., Ensuring all fingerprinting is completed according to program regulations, Scheduling and confirming attendance at Agency orientation, Creating personnel files.
  • Provide up to date reporting regarding the status of candidates in progress to HRBP, Hiring Managers and/or others as appropriate.
  • Create new employee files and maintain existing files, including, but not limited to, uploading, scanning, data entry, and filing.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Representative to ensure employee files are compliant with state and federal regulations, licensing, and Agency policies by identifying expiring documentation and fielding updated documentation from staff, coordinating with managers and program leadership as necessary.
  • Travel to office sites required.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years related HR experience
  • Computer proficiency, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation: $21 hourly
Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5 pm.
