Job Description: As an Operations Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in operations management, task oversight, and contract deliverable management across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in operations and program management, adept at ensuring the successful execution of all tasks and deliverables to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter. Key Responsibilities : * Oversee the management and execution of all operational tasks and activities across assigned projects and programs.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items and deliverables.
* Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives and maintain high standards of performance.
* Develop, implement, and monitor operational processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and compliance.
* Maintain program documentation, schedules, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
* Identify and mitigate operational risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
* Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, government customers, and subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications : * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, management, or related discipline).
* 10+ years of professional experience in operations or program management.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance required .
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required .
* Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in managing large, complex operations.
* Strong communication , negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with CDRL management and government contract deliverables preferred.
