Job description

ROLE SUMMARY: The Complex Recruiter leads full-cycle hourly recruitment efforts across Exchange Hotels Management, with a strong focus on attracting and hiring exceptional hospitality talent for Hyatt Place, Fort Worth Stockyards . This position serves as an ambassador of Exchange Hotels Management, delivering a welcoming and hospitality-driven candidate experience from initial contact through hire. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, building relationships, and connecting the right talent with opportunities across our organization. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Manage full-cycle hourly recruitment across multiple hotel and hospitality operations, from position intake and sourcing through interviewing, selection, offer extension, and transition to onboarding. 

  • Partner closely with General Manager, Hyatt Place, People + Culture and operational leaders to understand current and anticipated staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. 

  • Recruit for a broad range of hospitality positions, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering etc.  

  • Manage Hyatt required onboarding processes to include training videos, TABC/Food Handler certifications (if required) 

  • Lead high-volume recruitment efforts for hourly hospitality positions while maintaining a personalized and engaging candidate experience. 

  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for high-turnover, hard-to-fill, seasonal, and specialized hospitality positions. 

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, hospitality schools, community organizations, career fairs, referral programs, and other creative sourcing channels. 

  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess experience, hospitality mindset, service orientation, cultural alignment, and overall qualifications. 

  • Serve as a knowledgeable and engaging representative of Exchange Hotels Management, effectively communicating our culture, employment opportunities, and employee value proposition to prospective candidates. 

  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to provide a responsive and hospitality-driven candidate experience. 

  • Partner with hiring leaders to establish interview processes, provide candidate recommendations, and maintain appropriate recruiting timelines. 

  • Coordinate and participate in quarterly career fairs, hiring events, college recruiting initiatives, and community outreach opportunities. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitality schools, colleges, universities, workforce organizations, community partners, and industry associations to strengthen long-term talent pipelines. 

  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, interview documentation, recruitment activity, and disposition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 

  • Support internal mobility and career development by identifying qualified internal talent for promotional and transfer opportunities. 

  • Ensure recruiting and selection practices are consistent with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements. 

  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling candidate and employment information. 

  • Stay informed on hospitality labor-market trends, competitive hiring practices, and emerging recruitment strategies. 

  • All other duties as assigned. 

  ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-property hospitality environment with frequently changing recruitment priorities. 

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. 

  • Ability to attend career fairs, hiring events, community events, and recruitment activities both on and off property. 

  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and transport recruitment materials and supplies up to 25 lbs. 

  • Ability to travel between assigned Exchange Hotels Management properties and recruiting events as business needs require. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a closely related function. 

  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer management. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trusted partnerships with operational leaders and candidates at all levels. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, approachable, and hospitality-focused presence. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to independently manage recruitment timelines and follow-up. 

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive candidate and employment information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Prior recruiting or Human Resources experience within hotels, resorts, or multi-property hospitality organization.  

  • Experience developing partnerships with the community.  

  • Experience managing high-volume hourly recruitment within a service-driven environment.  

  • Experience coordinating career fairs/hiring events.
