What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):
 
Oversees and manages sales activities for NPH Properties within Market or Markets as assigned
Creates and maintains an office environment conducive to effective selling customer advocacy
Oversee hiring and training and development of Sales Managers, Property Sales Directors (if applicable), and Hourly Sales Associates/ Coordinators
Sets booking goals for Sales Team members
Leads as necessary to drive revenue and meet property objectives, guiding Property Directors and or Managers
Drives both guest and associate satisfaction while ensuring department's financial success
Leads the sales team in focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives
Responsible for development of annual sales and marketing plans for each hotel
Upholds the NPH Guest Service Principles
New business identification and procurement
Analyze market competition and trends within various business segments
Assist in developing, implementing, and controlling the hotel's sales and marketing plan
Create and maintain strong business relationships within various market segments
Manage sales-related activities for the property
Maximize and enhance room and event revenues to meet and exceed the hotel's revenue goals
Retain and grow existing business to maximize profitability
Acts in the absence of the Corporate Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability
What you should bring to the table:
 
Bachelor's degree
5+ years hotel sales experience
Preferred hotel leadership experience, preferably with a Marriott or Hilton Brand
Preferred event experience
Proven track record for success in sales and revenue generation supported with documentation and/or professional references
