Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an accomplished Director of Payroll to lead enterprise payroll operations for a large, complex organization in Brentwood, Tennessee. This senior leadership role is ideal for a payroll professional with deep operational expertise, extensive experience leading teams, and hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payroll/Oracle Payroll Cloud. You will provide strategic and operational leadership while ensuring accurate, efficient, and scalable payroll processes across a multi-state workforce.

In addition to overseeing day-to-day payroll operations, the Director will serve as a key payroll subject matter expert, partnering closely with HRIS, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to optimize systems and strengthen processes. This full-time leadership opportunity offers a competitive salary of $145,000 – $160,000 annually and the chance to influence enterprise payroll strategy, technology, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive payroll leadership experience within a large, complex organization.
  • Extensive experience leading payroll operations and managing high-performing payroll teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll and/or Oracle Payroll Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Oracle Payroll following go-live, including quarterly testing, enhancement requests, troubleshooting, payroll validation, and system optimization.
  • Experience serving as a payroll business lead or subject matter expert while partnering with HRIS and IT teams.
  • Significant multi-state payroll leadership experience within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll operations, controls, compliance, and process management.
