About the role: 
This Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio, with a focus on the competitive landscape. This role will work closely with the broader FARAPULSE marketing team, various cross-functional partners, the sales team and key physicians. This role requires a high degree of collaboration, strategic thinking, attention to detail, a flexible mindset and the ability to work under pressure. This person will have high visibility with senior leadership and customers and must be able to communicate professionally and effectively.  

This is a hybrid position based out of our Arden Hills, MN location. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement downstream marketing strategies for Boston Scientific's PFA products specifically focused on the competitive landscape 

  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities and drive product differentiation 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence framework to monitor competitors' strategies, products, market activities, and performance in the PFA market 

  • Analyze market data and present data trends to the senior leadership team bi-weekly 

  • Run ad-hoc business analytics for the franchise 

  • Synthesize competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions, ensuring our products stay ahead of the curve and meet market demands effectively 

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that could impact the competitive landscape, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders 

  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to gather and synthesize both Boston Scientific and competitive product clinical data 

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional partners to drive marketing initiatives forward 

  • Create and roll-out field training materials on the competitive technologies and strategies to blunt the competition  

  • Strategically plan for future competitive launches in the marketplace  

  • Partner with the our global regional partners to share best practices and intel 

Required qualifications: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree 

  • Minimum of 5 years of medical device experience 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to craft business plan 

  • Downstream marketing experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement and campaign) 

  • Background in EP or a competitive marketing role  

  • Ability to build messaging and communicate to the field sales team 

  • Experience with determining customer needs within medical device markets 

  • Willing to travel up to 30% (possibly international) 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree such as Master's or MBA 

  • Electrophysiology experience 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects 

  • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member 

  • Ability to develop clinical expertise in medical devices 

  • Sales experience 

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
