Job description


The Environmental Program Manager supports day-to-day environmental compliance activities and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures. This role assists field operations by executing audits, tracking compliance data, and supporting program implementation.
The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Executes environmental compliance programs such as sampling, audits and inspections using established processes and tools.
  • Supports compliance with applicable regulations and permits under USEPA, MOE, and other governing bodies.
  • Tracks and maintains documentation of environmental requirements, permits, and compliance activities.
  • Assists in preparation of reports on environmental compliance performance.
  • Follows established AI-supported workflows to identify potential compliance risks and escalate findings.
  • Supports testing and adoption of AI tools and digital solutions within compliance processes.

What You'll Need for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental studies or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of environmental, safety, or compliance-related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
