Job description

Benefits & Compensation Analyst (Temp to Hire) Position Summary

The Benefits & Compensation Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and ongoing enhancement of FirstCash's Total Rewards programs. This role partners with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to provide data-driven insights that help ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving the employee experience through effective compensation and benefits strategies.

Essential Responsibilities Compensation
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market pricing analyses.
  • Support annual compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and incentive programs.
  • Assist with job evaluations, classifications, and compensation recommendations.
  • Analyze compensation data to support pay competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
Benefits
  • Support benefits administration, vendor management, and open enrollment activities.
  • Analyze benefits utilization, participation, and cost trends.
  • Assist with employee benefits communications and issue resolution.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance employee experience and program effectiveness.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain reports related to compensation, benefits, headcount, and workforce metrics.
  • Perform data audits to ensure accuracy across HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
  • Create dashboards and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve processes.
Compliance & Projects
  • Support compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Participate in HR system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
  • Stay informed on compensation, benefits, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Compensation, Benefits, HR Analytics, Total Rewards, or a related HR function.
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and XLOOKUP.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting compensation and benefits programs in a multi-site or large organization.
  • Knowledge of salary surveys, job evaluation methodologies, and pay equity practices.
  • Experience with Dayforce, UKG, and Power BI.
  • CCP, CEBS, or other related certifications.
