Job description

About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire Compensation and Equity Operations Associate to support the administration and day-to-day execution of the company's compensation and equity programs. This role focuses on operational support, data accuracy, process coordination, and employee guidance related to equity compensation and core compensation processes. This role works closely with senior Compensation and Equity leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure programs are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company guidelines and market practices.
Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of global equity compensation programs, including stock options, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and other long term incentive awards, by assisting with grants, vesting schedules, employee inquiries, and data validation.
  • Maintain accurate equity records and reports, including award status, vesting progress, and basic tax-related data as provided by vendors and internal teams.
  • Assist with employee-facing equity communications by helping draft FAQs, reference materials, and intranet content that explain equity programs and timelines in clear, accessible language.
  • Coordinate with external equity administrators and internal partners (Payroll, Finance, HRIS, and Legal teams) to support timely processing of equity-related transactions.
  • Support compliance activities related to equity programs by preparing data, documentation, and reconciliations required for internal reviews and external filings under guidance from senior team members.
  • Support annual and off cycle compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, bonuses, and equity refresh cycles.
  • Assist with job leveling, job description maintenance, and basic job evaluation activities by gathering data and preparing materials for review.
  • Support market pricing and benchmarking efforts by participating in compensation surveys, compiling market data, and assisting with data analysis.
  • Prepare compensation reports, audits, and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy across HR systems, payroll, and compensation tools.
  • Respond to routine compensation-related inquiries from HR partners and managers, escalating complex questions as appropriate.
  • Help maintain compensation guidelines, process documentation, and internal controls.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in compensation, equity administration, HR operations, or a related analytical or administrative role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Exposure to equity compensation or corporate compensation processes is preferred
  • Experience working with data, reports, or HR systems in a structured, deadline-driven environment

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
