Overview

Groom Law Group is seeking an experienced associate to join our successful tax practice group focusing on executive compensation matters. Our firm's extensive experience, collaborative approach and proven record of success make us the leaders in benefits, retirement, and health care law. The location of this position is flexible and can be structured as a remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities

The associate will primarily support the firm's Plan Sponsor group and work on compliance-related matters involving non-qualified deferred compensation plans and other executive compensation programs subject to 409A, as well as provide general support for our work on qualified plans such as 401(k), profit-sharing, traditional defined benefit, and cash balance plans.

Qualifications

A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is required. Candidates with relevant 4-7 years of executive compensation experience, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, superior academic credentials, and exceptional writing ability are encouraged to apply.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $320,000 - $440,000. Please note that the offer amount will be dependent on attorney class year, relevant experience, and skillset.
