Job Summary:

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Compensation & Benefits Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and compensation programs. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of enrollments, payroll deductions, and employee benefit changes, while providing excellent service to employees.

The Compensation & Benefits Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the transition of Benefits Administration to a centralized Benefits function in a corporate setting.

Job Duties:

  • Process employee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in Employee Navigator
  • Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans
  • Set up and maintain accurate benefits payroll deductions in Paylocity
  • Coordinate new hire benefits setup and track enrollment deadlines
  • Support 401(k) enrollments and contribution updates
  • Manage HSA setup by verifying accounts and entering payroll deductions
  • Review and audit benefits data and payroll deductions for accuracy
  • Assist employees with benefits questions, enrollment, and basic plan navigation
  • Process qualifying life events (marriage, birth, dependent changes, etc.)
  • Support leave of absence benefits tracking and coordination of continuation of coverage
  • Process employee terminations and support COBRA administration
  • Assist with open enrollment setup, employee communication, and enrollment tracking
  • Partner with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely data flow
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organization in all processes

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience in HR, payroll, or benefits administration required
  • Experience working with HRIS or benefits administration systems required
  • Strong excel and organizational skills required
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines required
  • Excellent communication skills to support multiple state employment
  • High levels of reliability and accountability required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion required
  • Alignment with company core values required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Paylocity and/or Employee Navigator preferred
  • Basic knowledge of benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) preferred
  • Experience supporting open enrollment or payroll processes preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
