• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to establish patient needs, identifying strengths and challenges in their mental health journey.
• Develop, implement, and continually update individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing proven methodologies such as solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral approaches.
• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to discuss treatment strategies, share best practices, and enhance the overall quality of care provided to patients.
• Educate and support clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mental health to enhance clinical practice.

In this role, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse range of patients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma. Your ability to relate to and build rapport with clients is essential in helping them navigate their challenges and achieve better mental health outcomes. You'll be instrumental in providing a supportive and understanding atmosphere that encourages openness and healing.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York is mandatory for practice.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and a familiarity with current treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

While not strictly required, applicants with previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly those who have worked within multidisciplinary teams, will be at an advantage. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a commitment to continual professional development are also beneficial.
