Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for soliciting business for NOV Portable Power as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Conduct cold calls, follow up on leads, create sales opportunities, and close business
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across various industries and geographic areas through in-person interaction
  • Attend training at NOV facilities to become familiar with equipment, services, and company processes
  • Complete weekly sales call reports, monthly expense reports, mileage reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in Monday morning sales meetings and provide updates on sales activity and pipeline
  • Attend sales conferences, industry trade shows, and networking events to promote NOV Portable Power and build brand presence
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in equipment rental or industrial outside sales environments
  • Experience working with contractors, construction, or industrial customers
  • Strong ability to build relationships, manage a sales territory, and drive revenue
  • Comfortable working in a field-based, customer-facing sales role
  • Familiarity with portable power, generators, or heavy equipment is a plus
