Job description

Title: Community Support Associate

Location: Letcher County Sapling Center

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time

Credentials: High School Diploma/GED, or comparable educational entity.ย  18 years of age or older and aย VALIDย Kentucky Driverโ€™s license forย three (3) years with an acceptable driving record.

Special Skills/Knowledge Required: One (1) year full-time working experience with youth ages 14 โ€“ 25ย  who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder or co-occurring disorder.ย  Ability to utilize an electronic medical record and effective interpersonal skills.

Primary Functions:

  • Provide individual and group services
  • Teaching emotion regulation skills, crisis coping skills, independent living skills, and other skills as needed/identified.
  • Educate clients on community resources and how to access them.
  • Complete billing per agency.
  • Complete weekly reports.
  • Manages employees and the building.
  • Develops the monthly calendar.
  • Outreach
  • Tracks employee trainings.
  • Completes needed requests, ordering supplies for the center, and completes grocery shopping.
  • Drives transportation van.
  • Attends trainings as assigned by supervisor.
  • Answers to the assistant director of TAY services

Shift/Days & Work Hours:ย  Monday โ€“ Thursday 10:00am โ€“ 8:00pm
