  • Performance-based incentive opportunities tied to program growth

About the Role

To The Rescue is seeking a Human Services Sales Leader to help grow services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across the northwest Denver metro area.

This is a relationship-driven, field-based role focused on connecting with case managers, providers, and community organizations that support individuals with disabilities. Through networking, outreach events, and ongoing relationship building, you’ll help expand awareness of To The Rescue’s residential and day services while guiding new members through the intake process.

Success in this role comes from building trust, maintaining community presence, and proactively developing new referral relationships. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, working independently in the community, and helping connect individuals and families to meaningful services.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Outreach & Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain relationships with case managers, PASAs, providers, and IDD support organizations

  • Represent To The Rescue at provider fairs, conferences, and community networking events

  • Schedule meetings with referral partners to introduce and explain To The Rescue’s services

  • Maintain regular contact with community partners to support ongoing referrals and collaboration

Territory Development & Referral Growth
  • Develop new referral relationships across Jefferson, Broomfield, and Boulder counties

  • Identify opportunities to expand services through community partnerships

  • Use creative outreach strategies to connect with professionals who often work remotely

  • Maintain an active pipeline of contacts and track outreach activities

Intake & Member Coordination
  • Assist with new member intakes, including required documentation and coordination with case managers

  • Communicate with internal residential and administrative teams to support onboarding

  • Help ensure a smooth transition once services begin before handing off ongoing support internally

What We’re Looking For
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys networking and community engagement

  • Someone who is self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field

  • Confidence in face-to-face conversations and outreach

  • Strong communication and follow-up skills

  • A mission-driven mindset and genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible schedule

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach, relationship-based sales, or human services

  • Familiarity with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services or related support systems

  • Experience working with case managers, social workers, or healthcare referral partners

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Territory & Travel

This is a community-facing role with regular travel throughout the northwest Denver metro area, particularly:

  • Jefferson County

  • Broomfield County

  • Boulder County

Candidates living in or near communities such as Lakewood, Arvada, Westminster, Aurora, Broomfield, Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, or Superior may find this territory more convenient.

Why Join To The Rescue
  • Make a direct impact connecting individuals with disabilities to high-quality services and support

  • Join a mission-driven organization focused on community impact

  • Autonomy to manage outreach activities and community engagement day-to-day schedule

  • Opportunity to grow with an expanding program in the Parker area

  • Potential for future growth into expanded business development or leadership roles as services continue to expand
