Ideal candidates will be innovative, forward thinking, and eager to learn a new way of doing things. Members of this elite team will be required to complete additional training including certifications required to provide employment services. In consideration of the advanced skillset and training required of these positions, we are offering enhanced wages, a sign-on bonus, certification bonus (if applicable), and first year retention bonuses to eligible employees.
Job Description:
The Community Program Manager is responsible for the successful program supervision and coordination of community-based waiver services for persons supported. This position will act as liaison between Direct Support Professionals, and administration for the day-to-day operation of the assigned areas. They will provide positive leadership development and mentoring to their team of direct reports. Additionally, they will ensure that the needs of person(s) supported are met, staffing ratios are correct, staff are properly trained, and documentation is complete and accurate and that all areas of responsibility meet state and licensure requirements. This is a full-time salaried (exempt) position.
MINIIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. College attendance is a plus. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory/ management experience preferably in providing supports for people with intellectual disabilities. Must have the desire and skills to mentor team members. Must have proficient computer knowledge. Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record throughout employment with Support Solutions. Must meet state and local requirements regarding criminal background check, sexual offender check, abuse registry, drug screening and felony offender listing. Must meet all training requirements and keep training current.
This position is required to manage employment services. As such, Community Program Managers must acquire and maintain proper certifications and training required of Supported Employment Managers / Frontline Supervisors responsible for the oversight of Job Developers and Job Coaches. Failure to maintain the required certifications and training may result in demotion or the termination of employment.
