Job description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER within the Operational Test and Evaluation Force (OPTEVFOR) of the Office of the Commander.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  1. Coordinating and managing directorates including policy, program, budget and new initiative formulation and implementation, personnel management (active duty and civilian), production of test and evaluation products and training items, etc.;
  2. Creating strategic documents, generating and implementing an action plan to meet strategic goals, and assessing performance towards meeting goals;
  3. Supervising senior military, government civilians (GS), and contractors; defining civilian and military appraisal/performance goals and mentoring these individuals to meet goals and improve performance;
  4. Rendering technical advice and assistance on staff, management, and operational issues arising throughout the command;
  5. Interpreting regulations and guidance and examining local procedures and practices to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
