Description
ActioNet is seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager in Vienna, VA. The Program Manager is responsible for delivering project support services, training, and managing the implementation of program management processes and methodologies.
In this role, you will:
โ€ข Provide executive governance and strategic oversight of enterprise IT infrastructure and operations across Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory/Entra ID, VMware platforms, WAN/MPLS networks, enterprise monitoring solutions, cybersecurity programs, backup and recovery services, and ITSM processes to ensure contractual performance, SLA attainment, and operational resilience
โ€ข Serve as the primary program authority for operational performance, holding functional Support Area Leads accountable for service delivery outcomes, performance metrics, risk mitigation, and compliance with organizational policies, federal mandates, and enterprise technical standards
โ€ข Lead Monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with executive leadership, presenting enterprise performance trends, risk posture analysis, financial status, corrective action progress, and strategic improvement initiatives aligned with enterprise governance frameworks
โ€ข Establish and govern the enterprise change management framework, ensuring Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes maintain appropriate risk evaluation, technical validation, documentation standards, and production readiness controls across infrastructure, cloud, database, network, and cybersecurity domains
โ€ข Ensure enterprise-wide remediation and compliance alignment, directing corrective action strategies for cybersecurity findings, vulnerability management, POA&M tracking, and audit readiness activities to maintain adherence to applicable NIST-based control frameworks
โ€ข Provide executive oversight of major incident and outage management, ensuring timely stakeholder communications, validation of root cause analysis, approval of corrective action plans, and sustained service improvement across all support areas
โ€ข Certify operational readiness and service stability, ensuring cross-support integration, performance accountability, and documented governance artifacts are maintained to support organizational oversight and contractual acceptance requirements
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience managing the lifecycle of complex technology infrastructure programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
Substitutions: Master's degree with 10+ years or Associate's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience may be substituted
โ€ข Experience managing enterprise IT operations programs supporting 24x7 environments
โ€ข Knowledge of SLA performance tracking, risk management frameworks, and executive reporting methodologies
โ€ข Experience overseeing ITSM performance reporting and service management analytics frameworks
โ€ข Experience overseeing compliance with cybersecurity directives and vulnerability remediation processes
โ€ข Knowledge of federal cloud adoption strategies and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) modernization initiatives
โ€ข Required Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional)
โ€ข Preferred Certification: ITIL 4 Managing Professional
