Devereux is seeking an energetic and compassionate Program Manager with excellent organizational and communication skills for our expanding programs in Santa Barbara County. This a great opportunity to advance your career to the next level and be a part of progressive human services organization!

  • Play a key role in the efficient and effective operation of our Somerset residential program 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including title 22 and title 17
  • Represent Devereux with families, community providers, regulatory, and funding agencies

Devereux  is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral health-care organizations in the country. Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services, community living, day programs, and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses, including autistic spectrum disorders, emotional and/or behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia and other cognitive disorders in Santa Barbara County. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and monitoring treatment plans of individuals served, interacting with families and regulatory/funding agencies, managing the program budget, staff scheduling and performance management, and participating in and leading treatment planning meetings. 

Salary is $70,304 annually 

Qualifications

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience in a residential, day program, and/or community program setting serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Be certified by the State of California as ARF and/or RCFE administrator, or be willing to obtain. 

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a residential, day program, and/or community program setting serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.  Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. Regularly requires lifting/moving weight of up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: All Devereux staff must be able to pass a thorough background and Livescan check, oral drug screen, and have a valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
