Job Overview:

Our Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing iCM Attendance and CareTracker accuracy, documentation quality, and compliance standards. The role also supports the program Manager in ensuring the efficient operation and overall quality of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor attendance and CareTracker entries daily to ensure accuracy, quality of documentation and compliance. Coordinates with center staff and/or other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing. Alerts the program Manager of inaccurate or missing services and/or units in iCM or Person-Centered Plans so issues with billing or compliance can be resolved.

Be the lead trainer in-center on iCM attendance and CareTracker for new hires and existing staff.

Assist the program Manager with overall center operations, including compliance with The Arc Baltimore's policies and procedures, DDA regulations, OHCQ and QIO audits, quality implementation of people's Person-Centered Plans, etc., as designated by the program manager.

Support the program Manager with daily programmatic functions as needed, such as Management of Funds, PCP Trainings, Daily Mileage Logs and vehicle maintenance, etc.

Assist with staff supervision and guidance as designated by the program Manager and when the Manager is on vacation/leave.

Drive an agency or personal vehicle, as appropriate, for agency related business

Attend all on and off-site meetings, as required.

Complete all agency required training for the position.

Other duties as assigned. The responsibilities of this position may evolve to support the needs of the program.

Requirements:

Must be at least 20 years of age.

High school diploma or G.E.D required. Must maintain or become certified and able to maintain (within 6 months), Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in accordance with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) guidelines.

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Two years of experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Valid Maryland driver's license and clean driving record required. Eligible to drive own vehicle or agency vehicle.

Flexibility with schedule is required, as necessary; however, working during program hours of operation is the standard expectation.

Preferred:

Associate's degree in Human Services, Psychology, and or Sociology.

Proficiency in iCM (iCareManager) preferred.

Experience working in Day Services and/or 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
