What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities Management team in Victoria is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead operational excellence across the branch. You'll be the operational backbone of the branch, providing strategic and administrative leadership to the Branch Management Team and Advisor teams. Your role bridges client services, compliance, technology, and team development to ensure the branch runs smoothly and meets all regulatory standards.
What will you do?

  • Execute the Branch Director's vision - Translate strategic goals into day-to-day operational excellence
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager/Associate Branch Manager to foster COI/bank partner relationships for the branch
  • Mainly responsible for HR administration, including payroll, new employee onboarding, vacation/absence management, recruitment, Coaching, Registrations (CIRO, Insurance, PC USA), employee recognition, performance management, etc.
  • Lead and develop staff - Train new branch support staff and coordinate ongoing professional development for existing team members
  • Supervise sales support teams - Manage and optimize the performance of branch support staff
  • Review of Compliance related matters delegated by the Branch Manager and ensure all regulatory requirements and internal controls are consistently met
  • Manage technology - Oversee system access, setup, troubleshooting, and technology adoption across the branch
  • Liaise across departments - Coordinate with internal RBC teams to resolve issues and streamline processes

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.

The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
