Job description

Events & Community Operations Coordinator

Sunrise Center | Corte Madera, CA

Sunrise Center is seeking an organized, proactive, people-oriented team member to help

coordinate events, support presenters, engage our community, and assist with day-to-day

operations.

Responsibilities

Event Coordination

Coordinate logistics for workshops, classes, speakers, concerts, and special events

Communicate with presenters, facilitators, and guest speakers

Manage event registration and attendee communications

Assist with event setup and onsite operations

Help ensure a positive experience for presenters and participants

Support event follow-up and reporting

Coordinate event details and communications with partner organizations, including Hale Akua

Garden Farm and related Maui programs when applicable

Community & Administrative Support

Respond to participant inquiries by phone and email

Maintain registration databases and participant records

Track event attendance, registrations, and payments

Coordinate registration, payment, and reporting processes with bookkeeping and administrative

support personnel

Assist with scheduling and calendar management

Prepare meeting notes and action items

Help maintain organized digital files and systems

Marketing & Outreach Support

Assist with email campaigns and newsletters

Update website event listings

Coordinate social media posts and event promotion

Help increase attendance and community engagement

Support outreach to presenters, partners, and community organizations

Qualifications
