Job description

Bonita National Golf & Country Club, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Assistant Community Association Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Position Summary:
The Assistant Community Association Manager (ACAM) will work closely with the Community Association Manager (CAM) to ensure compliance with use restrictions included in the homeowner associations governing documents. Will perform regular community inspections and follow-up inspections for exterior modifications approved by the Architectural Review Committee and other compliance related issues. The ACAM will work with the community landscape maintenance partner to ensure that all landscape services are maintained to the highest standards expected by the community as outlined in their contract. Performs all duties in a manner that focuses on enhancing property appearance while improving the membership experience. Will liaise with HOA Board, Committee Chair and Committee Members.
Essential Job Function:
Landscape Management:
  • Primarily focus would be inspections in the community for ARC (pre/post), landscaping, irrigation and compliance.
  • Will act as the liaison with homeowners to address their concerns and issues regarding landscape, irrigation and compliance ensuring that projects and issues were addressed and satisfactorily completed.
  • In collaboration with CAM, ensure landscape maintenance and irrigation vendor adheres to contract specifications.

Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions Compliance:
  • Become familiar and our resident expert with community governing documents, in particular homeowner use restrictions and the architectural review process.
  • Inspect exterior of homes for use restriction violations.
  • Follow up systematically on open violations to ensure compliance.
  • In collaboration with the CAM, respond to homeowner violation concerns.
  • Inspect exterior of homes upon completion of work subject to architectural review and make note of any deviation in the scope of work.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the CAM.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess strong knowledge of landscape and irrigation concepts.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to extrapolate data from contract and policy documents.
  • Microsoft office knowledge and ability to create and edit documents.
  • Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize work with minimum supervision.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Education/Certificates/Licenses/ Training:
  • Florida CAM License preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Landscape/Irrigation (Baseline) Certifications preferred but not essential.
  • General knowledge of building and tradesmen standards and codes but not essential.

Skills:
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in one on-one and small group situations.
  • Shows initiative.
  • Must be computer literate and demonstrate a desire to grow professionally.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to walk, reach, maintain balance, sit, stoop, kneel.
  • Must be able to carry or lift at least 20 pounds and be able to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to work outside up to three hours per day.
  • Must have sufficient vision to successfully perform the essential job functions.
