Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Battle Creek, Michigan

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
  • Experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and L&D required
  • Valid Michigan RN license required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP required
  • AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM required
  • AWHONN Advanced preferred
  • Ability to work in all areas of LDRP
  • Must be comfortable with holiday coverage and flexible RTO expectations
  • Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions accepted per policy
  • Supervisor-level references required
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum couplet care, and newborn support
  • Assist with OR circulating and scrub nursing duties as needed in the LDRP setting
  • Support newborn care at delivery and perform newborn-focused assessments
  • Complete lab draws and newborn hearing screens using designated equipment
  • Safely triage patients and collaborate with the care team to maintain AWHONN-based staffing standards
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary support teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
  • Adapt to changing census and staffing needs while delivering compassionate, family-centered care
