Job description

Community & Events Manager
Foster's & Co. Workspaces & Lounge | San Antonio, TX
Foster's & Co. is a work lounge, small-business resource center, and gathering place designed to help people connect, grow, and have conversations that matter.
We're looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded Community & Events Manager to develop and coordinate programming that brings people together. Events will include networking gatherings, speakers, workshops, panel discussions, team offsites, and other experiences for professionals, entrepreneurs, and the broader community.
Our goal isn't simply to host events. We want to tap into the questions and challenges people are already thinking about-career, business, relationships, leadership, personal growth, community, and purpose-and create opportunities to explore them through meaningful conversations, different perspectives, and valuable resources.
Our filter for programming is simple:
Connection. Competence. Confidence.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage a calendar of engaging events and programming.
  • Identify relevant topics, speakers, facilitators, and community partners.
  • Coordinate events from concept through execution.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.
  • Help promote events and grow attendance and engagement.
  • Generate opportunities for private events, workshops, meetings, and team offsites.

We're Looking for Someone Who
Is creative but organized, curious about people and ideas, comfortable networking and building relationships, and excited about creating experiences that matter.
Experience in events, community engagement, hospitality, marketing, business development, or related areas is preferred.
This isn't just about planning events. It's about helping make Foster's a place where people connect, learn, ask better questions, and leave better equipped for whatever comes next.
