JobTread is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead our events program from our Dallas headquarters. You will own the planning and execution of JobTread Connect, bootcamps, regional workshops, tradeshows, meetups, and internal events. From venue selection through post-event reporting, you will manage every detail that creates an exceptional experience.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands-on event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships, and turns big ideas into exceptional experiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of JobTread Connect, including venues, hotel blocks, programming, staffing, speakers, schedules, and rehearsals.
  • Manage bootcamps, regional workshops, meetups, and community events from planning through on-site execution.
  • Oversee JobTread's presence at industry tradeshows, including booth strategy, shipping, logistics, and staffing.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage contracts with venues, caterers, AV and production teams, and other event vendors.
  • Build event budgets, track expenses, and report on results and ROI.
  • Coordinate sponsor and exhibitor deliverables and on-site experiences.
  • Partner with the marketing team on event promotion, registration, communications, and post-event content.
  • Gather attendee feedback and apply learnings to future events.
  • Plan internal events, team celebrations, and culture-building experiences.
  • Travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience managing conferences, tradeshows, corporate events, or large workshops.
  • Proven ability to lead events from concept and budgeting through execution and reporting.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple events at once.
  • Calm, decisive, and resourceful under pressure.
  • Confident communicator who works well with executives, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and attendees.
  • Personable and comfortable engaging with business owners and executives.
  • Proficient with event technology, project management software, and Excel.
  • Willing to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Sponsor or exhibitor management experience is a plus.
  • Construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
