Job description

Butterfly Home Care- Northwest DFW is seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Community Outreach Coordinator to help grow our presence throughout Northwest Dallas-Fort Worth. This role is responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals, senior living communities, community organizations, and local businesses to increase awareness of our services and generate client referrals.

The ideal candidate enjoys networking, meeting new people, attending community events, and serving as a trusted resource for seniors and families seeking support at home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources throughout the community.
• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, memory care communities, physician offices, senior centers, and community organizations.
• Introduce Butterfly Home Care services to potential referral partners.
• Schedule and conduct informational meetings, lunch-and-learns, and presentations.
• Attend networking events, health fairs, chamber events, and senior and disability-focused community activities.
• Represent Butterfly Home Care professionally in the community.

Referral Development

• Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with referral partners.
• Follow up on referrals and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Track referral activity and relationship-building efforts within the agency CRM.
• Provide regular updates on referral source activity and business development opportunities.

Marketing Support

• Assist with distribution of marketing materials and promotional items.
• Support local social media and community engagement initiatives.
• Help coordinate educational workshops and community events.
• Gather market intelligence regarding competitors and community needs.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities.
• Submit weekly activity reports.
• Track mileage and event participation.
• Participate in team meetings and training as required.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse community stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic technology platforms.

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare, home care, senior living, customer service, marketing, or business development.
• Knowledge of the senior care and/or disability industry.
• Existing relationships within the local healthcare community.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel throughout the service area daily.
• Ability to lift and carry marketing materials up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to attend events, presentations, and community meetings.

Performance Expectations

• Complete a minimum number of referral visits each week.
• Develop new referral relationships monthly.
• Participate in community events and networking opportunities.
• Maintain accurate outreach documentation.
• Contribute to agency growth through referral generation and brand awareness.
