About the Role:
Join Kiddie Kampus Child Enrichment Center as a Lead Preschool Teacher, where you will inspire young minds in a nurturing and engaging environment. We are looking for passionate educators to guide our preschoolers on their journey of discovery and growth. Be part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of children and families in Bedford, OH!
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor each child's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Lead group activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve curriculum delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and center policies regarding health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, or CDA
  • State certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Creative, patient, and passionate about fostering a love for learning.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
