Job description

  • 30% - The Fund Development Director shall be responsible for the oversight of all fundraising accounts initiated by Student Senate. 
  • 30% - The Fund Development Director shall serve as the Block Manager for the Community Development Fund, Campus Safety Fund, and the Student Environmental Advisory Board Fund. 
  • 20% - The Fund Development Director shall coordinate monthly meetings with the Chairs of the CDF Board, Student Environmental Advisory Board, and Safety Fund Board to review recent allocations and brainstorm opportunities where Senate can increase utilizations for the funds. 
  • 10% - The Fund Development Director shall meet with the Chief of Staff on a monthly basis to review fundraising plans.
  • 10% - The Fund Development Director shall be responsible for coordinating and chairing the Educational Opportunity Fund process. 
,Student Senate is the primary advocate for students on campus. Our 90 senators, 15 legislative officers, 10 executive staff members, 5 election commission members, and advisors work together to allocate about $24 million in student fees in ways that best serve students. We also represent the KU student voice within University, State, and National Governance, working to address and develop policy in students' best interests.
