Job description

This position will be to support the development of decking products with the decking team to include die assembly and Trial support at Winchester. Responsible for reporting technical information, communicating results, and making recommendations for future work. Also participates in the safe and organized operation of the R&D facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and foster our โ€œpeople firstโ€ culture.
  • Responsible for the proper usage of the pilot line and lab equipment with little to no supervision.
  • Manage experimental project assignments for pilot line and lab equipment.
  • Develop test plans and collect data with basic interpretation.
  • Assume a leadership role of ensuring lab and pilot line are operating in an orderly and safe manner/environment.
  • Communicate project and process status with Supervisor as required.
  • Recommend changes, additions and/or modifications to the pilot line and lab equipment to ensure its vitality as productive research and application tools.
  • Participate on teams and complete projects within R&D relating to safety, housekeeping, and maintenance as required.
  • Participate in additional duties as required by the supervisor.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a Highschool Diploma and 0 โ€“ 5+ years of experience in plastics processing or a plastics lab environment or supporting engineering initiatives.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
