The Missile Solutions sector of L3Harris is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to drive high-performing Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) towards success on cutting-edge infrared (IR) sensor development and production programs. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional teams through every phase of the program lifecycle, ensuring flawless execution and strategic management of cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality objectives.

You will have the responsibility of directing all phases of programs from inception through completion, driving program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow. Your expertise will shine as you lead IPTs, manage program budgets, support contract negotiations, and serve as the primary contact for all program stakeholders. You will collaborate with leadership during program review sessions and swiftly resolve any issues that might impact the program's success.

Essential Functions:

Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and mission success

Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs

Manage performance in key areas including cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs

Support negotiation of contracts and contract changes

Support preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts

Act as primary contact and leader for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on assigned programs

Lead program review sessions with leadership to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance

Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences

Travel up to 15% to domestic locations

Ability to obtain a US security clearance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior program management experience, OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior program management experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior program management experience is required

1+ years experience with DoD contracts

1+ years experience managing program budgets

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with IR sensor systems or related technologies in a manufacturing/test environment

PMP or equivalent program management certification

Familiarity with systems engineering processes, hardware development lifecycle, manufacturing readiness, and transition to production

Experience with earned value management, integrated master schedules, risk management, and formal gate or milestone reviews

Experience with domestic and international customer engagements in a regulated defense environment

Background in missile defense or sensor development program
