Responsibilities

The Inpatient Dietitian provides evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to hospitalized patients across highly acute and specialty care settings as part of the multidisciplinary care team. Provides individualized nutrition support therapy, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.  Serves as a liaison between Clinical Nutrition and other practice areas. Opportunities for an active role in research, education, and development of best practice guidelines.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in nutrition or related field and/or additional nutrition-related specialty certifications are preferred.  Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field. Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited internship or approved training program. 

Commission on Dietetic Registration credential and Licensed in the state of Minnesota - must meet requirements within 6 months of hire. Previous clinical nutrition experience preferred.
