Job description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare due diligence analyses and ensure completion of all aspects of the due diligence process for potential targets, including financial, legal and operational diligence.
  • Prepare pro forma financial forecasts modeling prospective acquisitions (models include operational drivers, income statements, free cash flow and return analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of pre-LOI and pre-closing / diligence support insight PowerPoint presentations to key leadership.
  • Collaborate with other departments in completing functional area diligence.
  • Assist in the review of definitive legal documentation related to each acquisition
  • Assist in post-closing duties, to include earnout calculations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop synergies related to a potential transaction
  • Assist as needed in acquisition sourcing
  • Maintain the acquisition model that forecasts impact of each transaction on company’s financial statements
  • Develop and execute a post integration financial analysis to compare to original purchase model
  • Collaborate with the Integrations Manager to ensure a seamless handoff post-closing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-15% as needed for acquisition-related activities

Required Qualifications / Attributes

  • Strict attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings to leadership and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with knowledge of general financial accounting principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and presentation development
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, DataSite, and AI tools such as Claude is preferred
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 2-3 years’ experience in relevant position(s) such as financial analyst, consultant, accountant
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred, but not required

Minimum Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
