Job Title

Content & Communications Manager, Shaw Turf

Position Overview

Shaw Turf is a leading synthetic turf company, supporting three brands which focus on sports, landscape, and golf market segments. We are seeking a versatile, experienced Content and Communications professional to join our shared services team.

The Content and Communications Manager will support multiple internal brand and marketing teams while also contributing to broader business unit communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on creator - someone who can move seamlessly between writing, editing, social media management, communications planning, and light creative execution. Must be highly collaborative, adaptable, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities. This is an in-office role designed to foster close collaboration and day-to-day integration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development & Brand Storytelling

  • Create and manage compelling content across digital, social, internal, and marketing channels

  • Write and edit a variety of materials including campaign copy, social posts, executive communications, newsletters, presentations, blogs, web content, and internal messaging

  • Ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment across multiple business initiatives and audiences

  • Translate complex or technical concepts into clear, engaging communications

Social Media & Communications Management

  • Manage day-to-day social media content planning, scheduling, publishing, and engagement support

  • Assist in developing communications calendars and campaign messaging strategies

  • Monitor trends, platform performance, and engagement opportunities

  • Support internal and external communications efforts across multiple teams and initiatives

Creative & Visual Support

  • Provide light visual design support for presentations, social graphics, branded collateral, and communications materials

  • Collaborate closely with creative resources while also independently producing simple visual assets when needed

  • Maintain visual consistency and adherence to brand standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a shared services partner supporting three internal brand/marketing teams and broader business unit initiatives

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments

  • Balance multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously

  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve communication effectiveness and team collaboration

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in content, communications, marketing, public relations, or related

  • Strong writing, editing and messaging capabilities across multiple formats/ audiences

  • Experience managing social media content and communications workflows

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint, and Ai tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience supporting multiple brands, teams, or business units preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or PR
