Position Overview

The HVAC Program Manager manages facility operations through team leadership, maintenance planning, safety compliance, and stakeholder coordination. This role ensures facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in full regulatory compliance while supporting capital planning and client project needs.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Team ManagementMaintain optimal staffing levels and ensure plumbing, and grounds teams are qualified and trained for assigned duties. Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance plans incorporating preventive, predictive, and reactive procedures.

Safety & ComplianceIdentify and remediate safety hazards. Ensure full compliance with all regulatory laws, codes, and guidelines related to building infrastructure operations.

Capital Planning & Project SupportCollaborate with Property and Project Management on capital work plans for infrastructure upgrades and equipment replacements. Coordinate contractor activities and ensure understanding of building critical functions and owner/landlord processes.

Quality Assurance & ReportingConduct on-site quality inspections, manage procurement initiatives, and provide management reporting as requested. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional Operations Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 5 years technical and supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or plumbing operations
  • Strong background in equipment repair, maintenance, and system design
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication capabilities
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance methodologies and regulatory compliance requirements
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years progressive facilities management experience in commercial real estate
  • Professional certifications (CFM, FMP, PMP)
  • Advanced CMMS and Building Automation Systems experience
  • OSHA and safety management knowledge
  • Capital planning, budgeting, and vendor management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
