Job description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an entry-level Operations Communications Specialist to support mission-critical communication efforts within a dynamic operational environment. This role requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency with common office and collaboration tools, and the ability to manage and disseminate information effectively.

  • Support operational communication processes, ensuring timely and accurate information flow across teams
  • Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications, reports, and updates
  • Maintain and organize knowledge management systems such as SharePoint or Confluence
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and maintaining operational records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity in communications
  • Monitor and track communication workflows to ensure consistency and effectiveness

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with 0 years of experience or 4 years of experience in lieu if a degree
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with knowledge management platforms (e.g., SharePoint or Confluence)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
