What We Need:

The Global Strategic Company Communications team at 2K oversees all company related communications across 2K's Publishing and Studio organizations including Business Communications, Internal Communications, Executive Communications + Thought Leadership, People + HR related Communications, internal Change Management, Crisis & Issues Management, Social Impact and Global Content creation. The Communications Specialist, 2K Global Strategic Company Communications will support all communications with a focus on People + HR related internal communications to our employee base across 2K Publishing and Studios, Change Management, Shared Development Studio and Technology team communications, Strategic Operations, etc.

What You'll Do:

People + HR Related CommsDraft communications plans and messaging that supports:

People/ HR Communications initiatives including: 

  1. Policy Updates
  2. Annual Performance Review Process
  3. Annual 2K Engagement Survey
  4. RTO + Better Together Initiative updates

Regular internal people focused communications including:

    1. 2K Publishing All Hands 
    2. Business Unit Town Halls
    3. "The Download" - monthly Global Employee newsletter
    4. "The Byte" - monthly office posters news (just for fun!)
    5. Digital Displays content 
    6. Employee speaking engagement requests
    7. Community & Engagement related cultural moments and support of all Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
    8. Manage monthly content creation, approval routing, and building of The Download in Staffbase and The Byte in Google Slides.
    9. Support external press and editorial opportunities in partnership with Comms Manager and PR agency partner.
    10. Partner with HRBPs to support our Global Comms Employee Onboarding program, help new hires build a solid understanding of the communications team, our tools, processes and where to find information so they can get up and running quickly.
    11. Help identify opportunities for process improvements + simplification, as well as for enhancing the culture, belonging and well-being across the comms team + our partners.
    12. Manage the People Comms Intake Request Form.
    13. Partner and provide internal comms support to our HRBPs on key Global events (i.e. 20th Anniversary), tools (i.e. email alias + Slack channel nomenclature, new rewards and recognition program roll out, comms tools, and data captures (i.e. new joiners / hires, promotions, anniversaries, etc.


Global Communications Content, Channels + Coordination Company Comms Inbox management

    1. Distribution list management in partnership with Operations
    2. Manage Communications Calendar and weekly Comms team meeting
    3. Coordinate Internal Comms tactics + timing to support Game Launches in partnership with PR
    4. Partner with Comms Manager, Global HRBPs + Office Leads + Managers around the world to coordinate global alignment and representation in "The Download", All Hands "Cool People Doing Cool Things", "Team Spotlight" , etc.
    5. 2K Publishing Website Comms Support - partner with Web design team in Dublin on new 2K Web design migration and act as Comms liaison to coordinate  all 2K web updates (including 2K Foundations microsite) when needed.
    6. Maintain and update global comms files, templates and other materials across the Digital Workplace and Shared Google Drives.

Strategic Operations

    1. Support project coordination of big company-wide initiatives; ensuring alignment across all stakeholders; managing logistics, tracking deliverables, and assisting with event coordination
    2. Contribute to presentation decks, talking points, and event materials that support company-wide events + milestones
    3. Partner with cross-functional teams to help ensure these initiatives drive engagement and reflect company + team priorities
    4. Assist with agendas and follow-ups for leadership and studio meetings
    5. Capture meeting notes, summarize key takeaways, and track action items to ensure accountability across teams
    6. Help organize planning documents, dashboards, and progress trackers that support operational visibility
    7. Build positive working relationships across teams to facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing
    8. Support coordination between leadership, studios, and functional partners to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
    9. Assist with the coordination of Strategic Communications and Operations team processes, documentation, and shared tools
    10. Contribute to the planning and execution of team-wide initiatives, workshops, and learning sessions
    11. Help identify opportunities to streamline communication or improve the efficiency of recurring processes

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,700 and $97,260 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
