POSITION SUMMARY
The Internal Communications Manager leads the development and execution of Bedrock's internal communications strategy, ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication across the organization. This role drives alignment with business priorities and enables clear connection between leadership messaging and team member understanding.
The role partners with Talent and Workplace Experience leadership, senior business leaders, and People Strategy to develop and deliver communications aligned with business priorities and organizational change. The Internal Communications Manager owns both strategy and execution, including content creation, channel management, and communication planning, ensuring high-quality communications that drive engagement, support adoption of key initiatives, and serve as a reliable source of truth for team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Leads the development and execution of internal communications strategies and plans that support company-wide initiatives, business priorities, and organizational change efforts.
  • Advises leaders and cross-functional partners on communication approach, ensuring alignment with Bedrock's communication standards, tone, and priorities.
  • Creates and delivers clear, concise, and engaging internal communications across multiple formats, including company-wide emails, newsletters, intranet content, and leadership communications.
  • Drafts and edits communications on behalf of senior leaders, ensuring consistency of voice, tone, and messaging across all levels of the organization.
  • Owns the content and ongoing management of internal communication channels, including the intranet, company-wide emails, and recurring updates.
  • Manages communication cadence and processes for daily, weekly, and event-based messaging, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Partners with IT and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve internal communication platforms.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve clarity, streamline messaging, and enhance communication effectiveness across the organization.
  • Supports change initiatives by developing communication plans and advising on team member awareness and adoption.
  • Monitors and reports on communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and reach of messaging across company-wide initiatives and key business updates, using insights to drive team member engagement and continuous improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Applies independent judgment to develop and execute internal communication strategies, balancing organizational priorities, leadership direction, and team member needs.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of internal communication practices, change communication, and content strategy.
  • Experience developing written content for a variety of audiences, including senior leadership, across multiple communication channels.
  • Demonstrates strong organization, attention to detail, and consistency in delivering clear and effective messaging.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field.
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies and content across multiple channels.
  • Experience drafting communications for senior leadership and managing company-wide messaging.
  • Experience with internal communications platforms and tools such as SharePoint, ContactMonkey, or Mailchimp preferred.
  • Experience working in a complex and fast-paced environment with evolving priorities preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Bedrock is an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
  • Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.
