Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking an independent, and highly motivated individual for our Staffing Manager position in York, SC

A Staffing Manager acts as an onsite extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include employees relationship development and management of the contingent employees. Having prior experience in staffing, manufacturing, light industrial skill sets is a STRONG PLUS!

Compensation:   $22.00-$24.00 /hour.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies.
  • Easily problem solve issues that may arise.
  • Communicate and follow up with production supervisors and managers on company related matters
  • Update live spreadsheets and forms.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client's needs and output requirement.
  • Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain all business documentation is a professional manner
  • Ensures timely and precise updates in data systems and trackers
  • Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection for account
  • Processing applicants through hiring procedures which include pre-employment testing, on-boarding, orientations, and safety orientations
  • Management of employee HR issues to include coaching, counseling, disciplining, safety awareness and/or termination
  • Engage with employees daily to improve relations and retention
  • Documentation and administration of employee performance reviews and management of employee appreciation program
  • Process weekly payroll
  • Daily contact and weekly meetings with client representative for continued communication of service and issues
  • Tracking and reporting of all service metrics/KPIs

  • Previous experience in a supervisor role is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload
  • Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated
