  • Represent MassDevelopment at industry events, conferences, and community engagements while promoting the Agency's products and programs.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in commercial lending, business lending, commercial real estate lending, construction lending, or a related financing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial loan underwriting, credit analysis, risk assessment, loan structuring, documentation, and portfolio management, including formal credit training or a strong commercial credit background.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements, evaluate creditworthiness, and structure complex lending transactions.
  • Experience with commercial real estate lending and familiarity with state and federal tax credit programs, green finance tools, and other economic development financing resources.
  • Proven relationship management and business development skills, with the ability to cultivate partnerships with borrowers, financial institutions, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and other financial reporting and database management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while exercising sound independent judgment and managing an individual portfolio.
  • Commitment to MassDevelopment's mission and to advancing equitable economic development for businesses and communities across the Commonwealth.
