Practice Environment: 

  • Primary Location: St Joseph's Medical Center - Stockton, CA 
  • 8-room main OR, 2 OB ORs, Cath/EP lab, Endo 
  • The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center.

  • Collaborative MD/CRNA model; CRNAs work independently  
  • Schedule: Flexible8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including call options. Post-call days off for in-house shifts. 
  • Scope of Practice: Full autonomy for CRNAs, including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines. 
  • 355-bed hospital and Academic Medical Center
  •  The annual anesthesia case volume is approximately 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
  • OB services with 3,000 births annually 
    • Multi-provider anesthesia team with an average of 250-300 births per month, averaging 4 epidurals  and 3 C-sections per day
    • 2 Obstetric operating rooms and 8 labor rooms in a recently renovated pavilion 

Qualifications: 

  • Active state RN and CRNA license
  • Board certification required 
  • ACLS | PALS | BLS

  • We're seeking full-time and part-time CRNAs who are motivated to practice independently in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our group works across St. Joseph's Medical Center and St. Joseph's Surgery Center
