Overview: The Technical Product Owner (TPO) drives solution definition and delivery for the Workflow Orchestration Initiative, supporting enterprise workflow and automation capabilities using platforms such as Appian. This role translates business needs into clear, testable requirements for backend, workflow, and integration teams. The TPO will support the Payment BU Workflow Intelligence and Optimization Initiative, working closely with product managers, architects, and software engineers (Java, AI, and workflow) to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. Responsibilities: Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define solutions aligned with program objectives and workflow modernization goals. Create and maintain features, epics, and user stories for workflow‑driven and backend services. Refine and manage the program and team backlogs, ensuring readiness for PI Planning. Prioritize work in coordination with the Scrum Master and Delivery Lead. Define acceptance criteria and accept completed user stories at the end of each sprint. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, clarifying workflows, integrations, and non‑functional requirements. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst on enterprise software projects. Ability to quickly learn business domains; Healthcare experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clear, structured requirements. Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office, or similar. Preferred experience with workflow modeling, system modeling, and Agile / SAFe delivery. Preferred familiarity with SQL, APIs, JSON, XML, or service‑oriented systems. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Participation in virtual meetings and collaboration sessions. Ability to maintain a secure, dedicated work environment with reliable high‑speed internet. Availability to engage in meetings with camera enabled when required.
