About the Role:
Join Home Helpers Home Care-Rochester, MI as a Caregiver, where you'll provide compassionate care to our clients in a supportive environment. With 8-hour shifts, youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve while enjoying a balanced work schedule. Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care assistance to client, including grooming, bathing, and dressing.
  • Administer medication and monitor client health status as directed.
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Document and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations and policies.
  • Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer, Sundowners. Knowing how to calm a fearful client by having a calm demeaner.
  • PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST-CLIENT TENDS TO WANDER AND CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
