Job description

Salary

$48,000 – $180,000 per year | Commission + Bonus | Full-Time

What This Opportunity Actually Is

RE/MAX Coastal — The Mandie McMillan Team — is hiring newly licensed real estate agents in Galveston County and the Houston Bay Area. You bring the license. We provide leads, training, marketing, signs, business cards, and direct mentorship from our Broker/Owner with 26 years in this exact market.

And yes, we have you covered. You pay only the standard industry dues and fees you’d pay anywhere. Everything else is on us.

What the Team Covers
  1. All RE/MAX desk fees, absorbed by the team
  2. Leads provided through our technology-driven lead generation platform
  3. All marketing, digital ads, signs, and business cards
  4. Full back-office support.
  5. Direct mentorship from Mandie McMillan, Broker/Owner, 26 years in Galveston County Houston Bay Area
  6. Proven lead conversion training + weekly live accountability calls
Your Lead Flow

Our lead generation runs on a platform used by top-producing teams across the country. It doesn’t collect names from sweepstakes forms or random ad clicks, it tracks actual buyer behavior online. The system monitors what properties people are searching, which neighborhoods they revisit, what price ranges they’re exploring, and how frequently they’re active. When that behavior signals someone is getting serious, you receive a real-time alert so you can reach out at exactly the right moment.

Between your conversations, automated follow-up runs in the background, keeping leads warm, sending relevant property updates, and re-engaging people who went quiet. The system works around the clock so your pipeline stays active whether you’re at a showing or off for the weekend.

What lands in your pipeline are people who were already searching for homes in this market before you ever called them. That’s a fundamentally different conversation than cold prospecting, and it’s what separates agents on our team from agents who spend their first year chasing dead ends.

Training Support

Your development starts before you ever talk to a client. New agents go through a step-by-step onboarding process, including mock contracts so you know exactly what you’re signing before a real transaction depends on it, and ride-alongs so you see how experienced agents handle consultations, negotiations, and difficult conversations in the field. Nothing is left to guesswork.

Ongoing training is delivered through a virtual platform used by high-performing real estate teams nationally, structured curriculum you can work through on your own schedule, built specifically for agents who want to grow a serious production business. And every week, a live accountability call with the team lead keeps your pipeline in focus, your goals on track, and any challenges addressed before they become problems.

This isn’t a folder of PDFs and a good luck. It’s a structured system with a real person checking in on your progress every single week.

What You’ll Build

Most job descriptions tell you what you’ll do every day. This one tells you what you’ll have built in three years.

A client pipeline that doesn’t start from zero.

With company-provided leads flowing in from day one, your first year is about converting opportunities, not hunting for them. Every closed transaction becomes a referral source. By year two, you’re working leads and repeat clients.

Consultation skills that create top producers.

The difference between an average agent and a high earner is what happens in the room with a buyer or seller. Our training and weekly accountability calls are built specifically to sharpen that skill, because that’s where your income is made.

Local market authority in a specialized coastal market.

Galveston County and the Houston Bay Area isn’t a generic suburb. Waterfront properties, flood zones, vacation homes, investment buyers, agents who know this market deeply become the ones clients call first, and the ones who get referrals for years. You’ll build that knowledge with a Team Leader who has lived it for 26 years.

A business that compounds.

Every transaction you close, every relationship you build, every open house you host adds to a reputation and referral network that grows in value over time. You’re not filling a role, you’re building something that belongs to you.

Requirements
  1. Active Texas Real Estate License (required)
  2. Self-motivated and driven by goals, not just a paycheck
  3. A natural with people, you genuinely enjoy helping others through major decisions
  4. Comfortable learning technology and CRM systems
  5. Organized and able to manage multiple clients at once
  6. Coachable, ready to follow a proven system and do the work
  7. Prior sales experience a plus, absolutely not required
