Radiologic Technician - Interventional Radiology
Schedule
This is a 10-hour day position, scheduled for four days a week, Monday through Friday. On-call is required from 17:00 to 07:00, with weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, but may increase based on staffing needs.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technician will perform imaging procedures in the Interventional Radiology department. The role includes supporting a combination of Rad Techs and RNs, managing adult patients, and potentially running to the C-Arm during OR/ENDO procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct imaging procedures safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment.
  • Monitor and assess patients during procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current NY State Radiologic Technology License.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ARRT Certification required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technician is required; 2 years preferred.
