We value professionals who come from hands-on, mission-critical electrical environments and bring a strong commitment to safety, ownership, and problem-solving. If you have experience working on complex electrical systems and thrive under pressure, this is a role where your skills directly translate.

Join us and be part of a team known for safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apparatus Testing & Maintenance

    • Conduct electrical tests including:
    • Insulation resistance (Megger)
    • Power factor / Doble testing
    • Transformer turns ratio (TTR)
    • Winding resistance
    • Contact resistance
    • Breaker timing and mechanical inspections
    • Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of substation equipment up to HV levels
  • Relay Testing Support
    • Assist with basic protective relay testing and functional verification during commissioning and maintenance activities
    • Support relay-related work using standard industry test sets such as:
    • Omicron CMC
    • Doble test equipment
    • Megger relay test tools
    • Help perform simple relay checks and system verification, such as:
    • Functional checks of protection schemes
    • Verification of wiring, inputs/outputs, and control logic
    • Participate in end-to-end or system-level testing activities under supervision, without responsibility for advanced relay programming or settings development

General Field Responsibilities

  • Interpret single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and equipment drawings
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment issues and assist in root cause analysis
  • Accurately document test results and prepare field service reports
  • Ensure compliance with NETA standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
  • Travel to client sites and work in outdoor substation environments

Qualifications

  • Required
    • 2–5+ years of experience in electrical testing, substation maintenance, or field service
    • Hands-on experience with medium- and high-voltage apparatus testing
    • Familiarity with common test equipment such as:

    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
    • Preferred
      • Experience in a NETA-accredited testing environment
      • NETA/NICET certification
      • Exposure to protective relay testing equipment (Omicron, Doble test sets, etc.)
      • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field
      • OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training
