Software Development Engineer - Medical Device / Signal Processing (Cambridge, MA)

Your role:

  • Design, implement, software solutions for ultrasound system modules, including Test and Integration, working under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Own the delivery of software components, including requirements, design, implementation, and feature verification.

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clinical specialists to ensure product quality and reliability.

  • Work in a Windows development environment with object-oriented C and/or C++/C#.

  • Gain valuable experience in a global MedTech environment with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to leading-edge healthcare solutions.

You're the right fit if:

  • You bring 3+ years of professional experience with C and/or C++/C# and experience working with medical devices.

  • You have demonstrated experience working with imaging and signal processing.

  • You have a BS/MS in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • You understand the software development lifecycle and best practices for software development, and you excel at analyzing and solving complex problems and are motivated to learn and adapt to new technologies. Experience with MATLAB will be beneficial.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA) is $126,000 - $201,600

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
