Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UX Researcher in Boston, MA.
Summary:
As an employee in the Senior UX Researcher role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our products and services are designed with the user in mind. You will lead research initiatives, evaluate design options and prototypes, and analyze data to provide actionable insights that will guide our overall user experience strategy.
As an employee in the Senior UX Researcher role, your key roles and responsibilities will include:
* Plan and execute user research studies to inform product design decisions
* Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviors
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product development
* Develop research plans, interview guides, and survey questionnaires to ensure data quality and rigor
* Conduct in-depth interviews, usability studies, and other research methods to gain insights into user behavior and attitudes
* Present research findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization, including product managers, designers, and executives
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX research, and apply them to improve the research process and deliverables
* Mentor and coach junior researchers to develop their skills and grow their careers in the field of UX research
* User experience evaluation: Tests the usability and accessibility of components and alternative designs; Identifies areas for future user research; Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation
* User research: Applies standard methods to support user research initiatives; Engages effectively with users and customer representatives to generate high-quality research; Documents and shares the outcomes of users research projects
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers in different time zones
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for making sound decisions under pressure
* Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, stay organized, and multitask in fast-paced professional service environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
